2008 is the 25th anniversary of Musikfest, and for this Christmas City Studio has teamed up with ArtsQuest to celebrate the growth and prosperity of the Lehigh Valley. As a leader in the Lehigh Valley, you are invited and encouraged to participate in Faces of the Lehigh Valley.
Christmas City Studio will photograph the business, political, educational, social and cultural leaders throughout the Lehigh Valley and showcase their portraits in a unique exhibit at Musikfest this summer. As a feature exhibit at Dankeplatz from August 1st to August 10th, Faces of the Lehigh Valley is the perfect place to be recognized as an ambassador for your business, non-profit organization, district or town and to assert yourself as part of a special group that has made, and continues to make, a positive difference in Lehigh Valley.
There is no purchase necessary. There is no cost to participate. All image selections are due to Christmas City Studio by June 1st, 2008. Call Christmas City Studio at 610-691-2109 with any questions and to make your appointment to be photographed.
Your Portrait Appointment
Portrait style will vary among participants. Each participant will have the opportunity to be photographed in multiple styles, and ultimately it is up to you, the participant, which image is selected for the exhibit. For your convenience, you will be making your image selection at the time you are photographed. Your appointment will take no longer than 1 hour, and will most likely take between 20 to 30 minutes.
While the focus should remain on you, you are encouraged to bring in items or props to represent something unique about yourself, such as a sport you play or played, a hobby, a lifetime achievement, or a cause for which you stand. Should you need any ideas or have questions regarding the style of your portrait, clothes to wear, or items to bring in, please call our studio and ask for Matt or Linda.
The Exhibit
Prints will be suspended inside the two air-conditioned tents at Dankeplatz for Musikfest 2008. Faces of the Lehigh Valley will be on display starting Friday, August 1st with a catered evening and ending on Sunday, August 10th. Scheduled viewing hours for the public will be posted closer to the event date.
